A gigantic 3-day country music festival is coming to the Jersey Shore in 2020 - PennLive

The inaugural Barefoot Country Music Fest will bring some of the biggest names in country music to the sandy shores of Wildwood next year, officials say.

The three-day event festival will take place June 19 to 21 and will feature more than 30 artists hitting stages set up along the beach at Lincoln Avenue. Artists will be announced at a press conference Jan. 7.

Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano says fans won’t be disappointed by the lineup.

“Everybody’s going to be undoubtedly surprised and excited,” Mayor Troiano told NJ Advance Media. “These are the top of the line. These are the big shots.”

The city is teaming up with Southern Entertainment, the company behind the Carolina Country Music Festival. That festival is the largest outdoor country music festival on the East Coast, officials say.

Troiano says the festival will be able to hold between 75,000 and 100,000 festival goers.

“It depends on how big they want to make it. It’s an expandable area,” Troiano said.

Tickets go on sale Jan. 10. You can find them on the festival’s official website. Discounts will be available for military members, and members of government agencies, police, fire and EMS, the website says.
