Thanks to Stillaguamish Tribe for Festival of the River - The Daily Herald

A huge thank you to the Stillaguamish Tribe for an outstanding Festival of the River in August.

What an amazing gift to our community; providing families with three days of amazing music, delicious food and entertainment galore for children and adults alike. Activities included a 15-foot yellow python that languidly draped itself across children’s laps, pow wow dancing in full ceremonial dress, a zip-line, climbing wall and trampoline, all with straps and harnesses for complete safety. And then there was the wandering magician, beautiful face painting and log rolling competitions. And so much more!

For 30 years this wonderful celebration of river and salmon and traditions and people and life is graciously given.

Thank you so much, Stillaguamish Tribe, for 30 years of enjoyment for all of us.
