Around a dozen vendors set up shop Sunday at the town's Fire Hall as part of their annual Danish Christmas Festival.
People browsed through all kinds of items at the Art and Craft Fair. Vendors had things all the way from gnomes to specialty soaps.
Sunday was Shae Wood's first time having a table at the Danish Christmas Festival. Wood owns ShadyTree Milkmaids in Wood River, where she makes soaps and lotions out of goat's milk.
Both Dannebrog and Wood River flooded several months ago, so Wood said she's no stranger to its aftermath. She said she's happy the town went through with the festival even as they continue recovering.
"I think just the community involvement. I think the people would've been upset. The kids would've been upset. They're use to doing this. Dannebrog is a community that sticks together, and it's proven by the amount of people that come to this and support it," Wood said.
Wood said events like this are also a great way to support local businesses like herself. She said they help people meet with the owners face to face, and learn more about what they do.
