After dropping a lineup last week that included Rage Against The Machine, Travis Scott and Frank Ocean, The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival began selling the remainder of its weekend two passes on Monday (weekend one was already sold out), and people on the internet were clamoring for a chance to get theirs.

Fans spent the afternoon sitting at their computer or watching their phone screen and hoping the infamous little blue man on the loading screen would get them in for their shot at a purchase.

Weekend two general admission passes by themselves sold out in less than an hour during a presale for fans who registered on Coachella’s website ahead of time. The presale began at noon.

A sale for the rest of the public began at 3 p.m. and it was during that time that the festival confirmed that only very limited quantities of general admission pass and shuttle combos ($504) and VIP passes ($999) were still on sale via its website.

Before the passes were ready to go on sale at noon Monday, the anxiety was real and people were already hoping for some good luck.

Fans were also planning on what their reaction would be if they did or didn’t get passes.

Then the moment arrived and some fans got passes right away while others found themselves at the mercy of the blue man.

At Southern California News Group, we conducted our own spot check and it took approximately 55 minutes for the blue man to take us to the loading page to purchase the tickets. Fans noted similar wait times.

Fans who got their passes early Monday afternoon were excited (even if their bank account had to be sacrificed in the process).
