The new year is here and so is the anticipation for tickets to the 2020 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
For the first time ever, the festival will use pre-sale registration to give fans first access to purchase passes. Weekend 1 passes are sold out, but folks can register at coachella.com and will receive a code for the Weekend 2 pre-sale.
General admission passes are $429, plus fees, while the Festival Pass and Shuttle Combo is $504 plus fees. VIP Festival Passes are $999 plus fees, and Preferred Parking is $140 plus fees.
Additional general admission passes traditionally go on sale for Coachella Valley residents a few days before each show, but that hasn't been announced.
As all of the internet – and then some – knows, Travis Scott, Frank Ocean and Rage Against the Machine will headline Coachella fest.

The release of the festival's lineup ends a months-long guessing game as to who would be named the top acts at the two-weekend event April 10-12 and April 17-19 at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.
When are set times announced?
Set times are typically released a few days before the start of each weekend of the festival.
Every year, there are a few unfortunate coincidences and tough decisions that have to be made. Catch up on last year's festival from Desert Sun columnist Shad Powers.
